The Cyprus Certification Company has certified the .cy Registry with the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard, No. ISMS.24.003 CY Services concerning the following activities: Provision of DNS services for the .CY registry.
This certification is awarded by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and contains a set of high-level standards for the secure management of information.
The certification includes:

- Implement an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
- Confidentiality – Information is disclosed only to authorized parties and only when necessary.
